Announcements
Final exam solutions and final grades are now online
Also, final grades have been posted and will be made available online on the MIT WebSIS site (http://student.mit.edu) shortly.
Incidentally, if you would like to review your own exam, the policy of the Physics department stipulates that you must review it in the Education Office (4-315) with the supervision of one of the 8.012 instructors.
Have a wonderful break!

8.012 Final Grades have been posted
The mean for the final was 58.3 and standard deviation was 16.6. This was (as you probably realized!) a challenging exam, about midway in difficulty between the first and second midterms. If you'd like to pick up your graded version of the exam they will be available in the Physics Education department after tomorrow.
We will be tabulating final letter grades for the semester tomorrow, but if you want to assess whether or not you are above passing, the F/D boundary will likely be 45 and the D/C- boundary 50. If you are taking the class pass/no record, you have passed 8.012 if you final score is at least 50. For those near the border, we have not added in extra credit from problem set 10 yet, so if you scored above 48 and handed problem set 10 in, you may still be above the threshhold.
On behalf of the 8.012 staff, I would like to congratulate *all* of you for taking this challenging course. You should be as proud of yourselves as we are of you to have "survived" one of the hardest classes MIT offers their undergraduates. Good luck with the rest of your finals and in Spring semester!
