TShirt Order Form
I've created a online order form for the 9.01
t-shirts.. By popular choice was a picture of Nissl saying
"Fo' shizzle my nissl'. Follow this link:

The final price of the shirts depends on how many students order but they will probably cost around $10.00.
You must fill out the form by monday at midnight or you will not get a tshirt. Please fill out of the form ASAP if you want.

Changes in Ch 25 Reading Assignment
There was not time in class to get to all of chapter 25.
Since we didn't cover some of the sections, we won't hold
you responsible for them on the exam. The sections you can
exclude are:
Synaptic Plasticity in the Cerebellar Cortex pg 772 - 776 and
Molecular Basis of Long-Term Memory pg 787 - 791
However, he did cover one section in chapter 23, so you should read that instead:
Elementary Mechanisms of Cortical Synaptic Plasticity pg 716 - 720

Tips to Stay Awake During Lecture
We've noticed that many of you are having trouble staying
awake for the duration of the lectures. Here are some
nutritional tips that might help you get through class:
1) If you're going to use caffeine to stay awake, you should sip the equivalent of 1/4 of a cup of coffee over an hour. Any more than that will give you jitters.
2) Sipping water throughout the class can be just as effective as drinking a caffeinated beverage.
3) Try bringing a healthy snack to nosh on during class. Some good examples are fruit or a granola bar.
4) Make sure you are getting protein in your lunch (and be sure you're eating lunch!). Eating a lunch heavy in carbs can cause you to crash in the afternoon.
